How Important is Choice in a Employee Award Program?
Posted December 22nd, 2009 by LeyShould choice be a prime consideration in determining the type of award system to use in an incentive and recognition program? And if so, who should define “Choice” the sponsoring company or the participant?
I’ve seen articles where the subject of choice is discussed with a conclusion that too much choice can be de-motivational. Articles have gone on to say that people are becoming increasingly unhappy with too much choice. I find these conclusions to be extremely interesting especially with regard to what I’ve experienced in programs I’ve implemented, which is just the opposite. Read more.
